SAP Authorisation Specialist NBK

POSITION: Contract role until March 2021.

      • Matric, SAP Authorisation Certification
      • South African Citizens only
      • Willing and able to travel for up to 2 weeks at a time (international) if required
      • SAP Authorisation Specialist
      • Must be able to design detailed Authorisation and Role Concepts to reflect and support business and IT needs.
      • Must be able to design and build SoD violation free roles in collaboration with business, functional consultants and DevOps teams and in line with formal IT Security instructions and SAP Security guidelines.
      • Must have excellent analysis and conceptual thinking skills to enable you to investigate problems and propose solutions related to compliance conflicts.
      • Must have operational experience and skills to transport created roles between systems and must be able to effect corrections if required.
      • Must be comfortable with MS Excel and have strong skills in the use of formulas and functions used in data manipulation and analytics.
      • Must be able to work effectively with Jira and Confluence in an Agile work environment.
      • Knowledge of 3rd party User Provisioning tools will be advantageous.
      • Must have working knowledge and skills in SAP Fiori.
      • SAP ECC Authorization in all modules (FI, MM, SD, HR etc.) SAP Fiori
        SAP Fiori Launchpad and Administration:
        • Good understanding of Fiori concept.
        • Create Tiles / Catalogues / Groups.
        • Execute SAP Trace analysis.
        • Strong Basis authorization Object knowledge.
        • Operations Support
        • Record, route and monitor all incidents using Incident Management tools in accordance with formal ITSM processes. This includes Major Incident Management process where applicable.
        • Action and resolve 2nd level security and authorisations incidents within SLA times for all supported systems.
        • Liaise with DevOps teams and business users to resolve incidents or general queries as required.
        • React to and take appropriate action to resolve system generated incidents in a timely manner.
        • In the course of normal duties, identify and report discrepancies in documented processes.
        • Use of the standard knowledge database tools (currently Primus).
        • Liaise with DevOps teams on user access requirements, new transactions, role creation etc.
        • Ensure user and role creation is done in accordance with group standards and guidelines.
        • Provide user support in understanding processes related to SAP Authorisation.
        • Must ensure role concepts and designs enforce internal controls and good practice to limit business risk.
        • NBK (New Authorisation Concept) Tasks
        • Role Design, Build, Maintenance and transport management across systems.
        • GRC SoD Violation Analysis of new or changed roles.
        • Adhere to ITSM processes for Change Management.
        • Ensure user appreciation of the principles of least access and minimum risk.
        • Assist users in evaluating role concept and design proposals.
        • Share knowledge and business process with team members to ensure that handover of tasks is simple and effective.
        • Trace file analysis and interpretation.
